This gift certificate can be redeemed for one (1) Trimester-long school year Creative Writing workshop *or* one (1) week-long, half-day Spring or Winter break Creative Writing workshop.

Writopia runs creative writing workshops for kids ages 2 to 18.

All of their workshops have a maximum of eight students and are led by a published author or produced playwright who has been fully trained in their time-tested methodology. In each of the past six years, their students have won more recognition for their writing than any other group of students in the nation.

In the workshops our writers explore the creative writing genre of their choice (fiction, fantasy, science fiction, poetry, memoir, scripts, comics, graphic novels, humor, etc. ) or essay writing. Out instructors are published authors who are deeply invested in the well-being and development of Writopia writers. They help our writers complete one piece of writing by the end of each workshop. Participants are then invited to read their writing at a local bookstore, and may also publish their pieces online at Writopia's own literary magazines, The Parenthetical or The Ellipsis.

You will be notified by e-mail if you are awarded the winning bid.  

This item will be available for pickup at the Elemental Strings/Prelude Concert on Saturday, March 7, 2020 at Will Rogers Learning Community, 2401 14th Street, Santa Monica.

Auction pickup will take place at the Cafetorium starting at 12:30pm until 3:30pm.

If the winning bidder is a current participant in an Elemental Music program, we will do our best to deliver your winning items directly to your rehearsal during the week of March 1.

If the item needs to be shipped, the winning bidder is responsible for the additional shipping charges and will be billed to your account. All items are shipped with tracking. The shipper, not Elemental Music, is responsible for successful delivery.
