Item Description
Start something new or hone your skills with a 30-minute voice or piano lesson with Peter Ayres.
Born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, singer-songwriter Pete Ayres grew up listening to his parents’ classic folk, rock and pop albums, while simultaneously developing a taste for soul, jazz and R&B. His unique voice and genre-blending songwriting have contributed to his success in both New York City and the Midwest, including sharing the stage with Gavin DeGraw, Mat Kearney and John Sebastian of the Lovin Spoonful.
Ayres’ latest album Till I See You (2015) showcases his jazz education with songs that evoke both classic and modern sounds. Ayres is currently working on his third album, set to release in 2019.
In addition to performing, he is also a teacher with 10+ years of experience. He teaches voice, piano, and songwriting to a variety of ages and experience levels. Available styles include but are not limited to: classical, rock, pop, jazz, singer-songwriter, musical theater and more.
