Cotton Cyanotype Wall Hanging # 2 (Students: Kip, Pierce, Sean, Daniel, Trevor, Lauren, Lincoln, Hazel, Grete, Rachel, Beta) (H 42" x W 30") (A cyanotype is an early photographic process made by coating a surface with UV light sensitive chemicals, placing objects on top of that surface, and exposing it to UV light. In this case, students placed objects (and their hands) on top of fabric that was treated with cyanotype chemicals, and exposed it to the sun creating photographic blueprints.
