Item Description
Wine lovers, this one's for you!
Barolo is a traditional hillside village in the rolling hills of Piedmont, northwestern Italy. The vineyards and cantine (wineries) there have long been famous for producing some of Italy's very finest red wines – predominantly from the region's signature grape variety, Nebbiolo.
From vivino.com, here are some of the reviews of this 2011 Elio Filippino Barolo:
- Heaven in a bottle.
- Light Barolo with pleasing aromatics and red fruits. Short finish.
- Smooth, soft and not too light...
- Medium bodied but full of flavor, reminds me of a Pinot...Nice dry dusty finish. Very enjoyable.
Donated by APEX Wine & Spirits, 46E Bedford Street, Lexington, MA.
NOTE: wine cannot be shipped and must be picked up at the ResearchILD office in Lexington.
