Item Description
This gorgeous quilted throw is perfect for a toddler or for a cheery lap quilt for someone special. The throw is 44" x 57" and hand crafted by Barb Buker of Barb's Custom Creations of Chippewa Falls. The quilt has colorful spring butterflies and flowers on both the front and back. It is 100% cotton with polyester batting and is complelely washable.
Wooden butterflies made by Don Bichner are carved from wood salvaged from old buildings in the Chippewa Falls area. The late Don Bichner was a significant force in the drive to restore and renovate the old McDonell Memorial High School into the beautiful community art center now called the Heyde Center for the Arts.
Item Special Note
This item can be picked up at the Heyde Center at the close of the auction or it can be mailed but at the expense of the auction winner. Wisconsin State Sales tax (5.5%) will be added to the winning bid at the time of awarding the items to winners.
