Homemade Filipino Dinner for 8

Enjoy a homemade multi-course traditional Filipino dinner made with organic meats and vegetables for 8 prepared by 4th Grade mom, Judy Olmo and 1st Grade grandmother, Norma Viola. These ladies will cook and deliver the following dishes for you:

 
*Lumpias are Filipinos’ go-to appetizer. They’re made with paper thin pastry wrapper, rolled up and stuffed with ground meat (pork, beef, chicken or a combination), mixed with minced onions, carrots, celery and other delicious vegetables. These rolled up goodness are deep fried until golden brown and served with a sweet and sour dipping sauce.

*Chicken Adobo is a dish regularly served in Filipino homes. The chicken is cooked in cane vinegar, soy sauce, garlic, bay leaves and peppercorn until pungent and rich, slightly sweet, sour and salty at once. It is served with rice and the remaining sauce.

* Pancit Bihon is a classic Filipino noodle dish often served during birthday parties, fiestas and other celebrations. This dish is made with rice noodles, a combination of proteins like chicken, pork and seafood as well as a great mixture of vegetables. For this auction, the bidder can pick the type of meat they want included in the pancit (or choose to keep it vegetarian). They say a party is not a party without pancit!

* Turon or banana lumpia is a popular street food that Filipinos eat for snack or dessert. Just like the lumpias described above, it is also deep fried and served crispy. Instead of meat, plantain is rolled in brown sugar, then wrapped inside the thin pastry wrapper. This snack/dessert will keep you wanting more! 

Dinner must be ordered at least 4 days in advance and preferably delivered on a weekend. Delivery is limited within 5 miles of Capri Elementary School.

Bidder is responsible for Shipping and Handling fee and any additional insurance, which will be added to the winning bid amount. Bidder may be billed separately for shipping charges depending on the item and location. Items will be shipped via USPS and billed at standard industry rates. Capri Elementary School Auction will only ship within the United States. No PO Boxes and no C.O.D.
