Retrotherapy is a collection of unique, one of a kind, handmade vintage jewelry and accessories.
When I was a child I loved to play in my grandmother’s jewelry. The 1930s and 40s were her time. My mother inherited my grandmother’s jewelry, and when my mother became sick, I decided to make something of their combined legacies. Creating new things with my mother’s and grandmother’s jewelry has proven to be the harbinger of better days and nostalgia of times gone past.
The pieces used come from the estates of the women of the South!
I hope that the jewelry I create from these pieces can bring for others the same nostalgic feelings that creating them has brought me.
