Item Description
Aproximately thirty years old. Gently used- hung at holidays. Colors are traditional blue, gold and white of Judaism. It displays the menorah, a special candleholder used for the winter Hanukkah Festival of Lights. The candles are lit for eight days, starting with the first night and adding one each night. This commemerates the miracle of the oil lamp in the rededicated temple burning for eight days when there was only enough oil for one day.
Double weave, aprox 46" x 70" with fringe. Excellent condition. it would be hard to find one this thick and this quality today.
