Christen Press is a forward on the United States Women’s National Team, champions of the 2015 Women’s World Cup. Christen has scored 24 goals in 41 appearances with the USWNT. Christen is the Stanford University all-time leader in points, goals, assists and shots. In 2010 she was awarded the MAC Hermann Trophy, college soccer’s equivalent of the Heisman.
The USWNT is one of the most successful teams in international women's soccer, winning three Women's World Cup titles in 2015, 1999, and 1991, four Olympic women's gold medals, seven CONCACAF Gold Cup wins, and ten Algarve Cups.
