Item Description
Three blocks from Midtown West School, lies a gem of ramen and Japanese small plates haven. With dozens of stores around the globe, New Yorkers are lucky to have two locations - one is within minutes of walk from our school, the other one in the trendy East Village.
On October 15, 1985, IPPUDO was opened in Japan with a counter seating capacity of 10. Shigemi Kawahara the Ramen King made a grand impact on the industry with his original interior design and Tonkotsu (pork based) ramen. The attention to detail and hospitable service translate to quality dining in a modest establishment with a decor and ambiance that hints at sophistication and quality.
