About the wines:
Petite Sirah grown at our Home Ranch in Redwood Valley consistently produces wines of excellent quality. Characteristically spicy and earthy, this wine has bramble fruit notes and a deep burgundy color. Pair with peppery pasta sauces, braised venison, or dark chocolate.
Our 2013 Merlot is velvety and smooth with supple flavors of cassis, pepper, and vanilla. A great complement to wild mushroom dishes, blue-veined cheeses, or your favorite chocolate.
The long-awaited Frey Dessertage is a classic port wine, wonderfully rich and sweet. During the harvest of 2002, fermenting organic Zinfandel grape juice was fortified with certified organic brandy, then aged in oak barrels. Unfortunately, a trade agreement between the US and Portugal now prohibits any new US producers of port to use the word "port" on their label. So we call ours Dessertage. A glass of Frey Dessertage is the classic way to top off a meal and celebrate your special occasions. Bottle size is 500ml.
