Item Description
Johnnie Hare Cowan is an award-winning Low Country artist and Latin grandparent. She is the founder of the Georgetown Watercolor Society and has used watercolor as her main medium for over forty years. She is known for her beautiful floral and still-life paintings.
She has taught art in both private and public schools and is currently teaching a watercolor and open studio class at the Rice Museum in Georgetown, South Carolina.
Her work has recently been accepted in the following juried shows:
