Item Description
The David Bust is a "labor of love" for Walt Horton. His research into the Biblical David and Goliath story marked a turning point in Walt's subject matter.
Rather than sculpting comical bears and sweet children Walt tackled David, the hero of the Old Testament. His extensive research led him to Biblical scholars (most of whom could not agree on anything) and Walt's own proficiency with the "sling" with which David reputedly slew Goliath.
Edition 30/300.
Walt now can be seen on the golf courses with his "sling" and a putter. His accuracy with the sling is deadly, but his "short game" can still use some work.
