Valerie Haggerty-Silva is a mixed media artist, illustrator and surface designer with years of experience as a graphic designer. She holds a BFA in Illustration from RISD, a Certificate in Graphic Design from BCC and is currently teaching children's art classes at the AAM. Valerie continues to explore imagery, materials and mark making as a practice that strengthens attention, builds understanding, sparks conversation and creates community.
This piece is part of a series of ongoing works inspired by forms, patterns and colors in nature. Valerie delights in finding ways to weave her love of the natural world into the practice of collage and playing with paper! She's always looking for just the right bits and pieces to add line, texture and visual interest to a surface.

Item Special Note
A note on bidding: Any high bid that does not follow the listed bidding increments will be nullified and voided.
The Bidding Increments are as follows:
$1-99, the bidding increment is $5
$100-199, the bidding increment is $10
$200-499, the bidding increment is $20
$500-999, the bidding increment is $50
$1000 and up, the bidding increment is $100
Items can be picked up at the Attleboro Arts Museum from November 6th ? 8th, 2025. The Museum is open Tuesday - Saturday from 10am-5pm. In-person pickup is preferred. If an item is to be shipped, the winning bidder is responsible for all shipping arrangements and handling costs. After arrangements have been made, items will be shipped no later than November 14th. Winners of specialty items that do not require pickup will be contacted with details by November 7th. The artist retains all reproduction and copyrights.
