About the Artist:
The Mumbai based artist, Vijay Belgave was born in Latur. He has been greatly inspired by the simplicity of rural life in his hometown, especially by its sensitive but strong women. Innovative textures with stylized figures, his subjects convey the theme of love and its many levels of expressions in a melody of colors in harmony. He is the recipient of numerous awards and held many exhibitions
