Description

Inspired by the landscape of Mississippi, this painting is a homage to the artist's time growing up in the Mississippi Delta.  As a child, she enjoyed playing in the creek behind her home.  Now, as an adult, she created this piece with fond memories of "Bear Creek."  This work is an 18" x 24" oil on canvas.  It was painted solely with her fingers: no brushes allowed.

 Artist:

Chritina Taylor Alford was born and raised on the outskirts of Greenwood, MS.  Growing up in the Mississippi Delta, Christina developed a passion for painting and singing.

As an artist, Christina is known for her palette.  Her work is lively, bold, and colorful.  From cotton fields to sunsets, she creates all her pieces using her fingers: no brushes allowed.
