3-hour Adventure into Maine's Intertidal Region by Coast Encounters

Let?s Go Tidepooling!

This entitles TWO people, ages 7 and older, to enjoy a 3-hour adventure into Maine?s intertidal region.

Coastal Carol will lead you and your party into the marine world that lives between the tides. Carol will give a general introduction of this diverse ecosystem, offer safety tips for navigating over the slippery rocks, and discuss ?tidepool etiquette?. Then it?s off to go exploring! Carol will share her knowledge about each of the critters (ie: how they move, what they eat and are they edible, how they protect themselves, invasive vs. native, etc.). The program concludes with all participants returning the critters to their proper homes and safely making their way back up the rocks. Parting gifts and snacks will be provided.

​​Winning bidders must pick up their items at the Chamber (16 Water St., Kennebunk) on the following days: 11/04- 11/08. Hours for pick up are 10 a.m.-3 p.m. If these dates are not amenable, please call the Chamber to schedule a pick up time (207) 967-0857. All items must be picked up or arrangements made by Dec. 1.
