Description
Beautiful, One-of-a-Kind Labyrinth Keepsake Box
Made exclusively for this auction, this stunning keepsake box is a study in natural grain textures and color contrasts by artistic woodworker, Paul Weber. Constructed entirely of hardwoods (with the exception of the veneered tray bottom), the box has a bird?s eye maple lid that features a carved Chartres labyrinth inlaid with forest green epoxy and is finished with a blond shellac while the cherry sides are finished with garnet shellac. The exterior of this special box features finger joints that add both strength and artistry and a carefully hand-buffed wax finish. Slide the lid open and inside you will find a three-section storage tray with fiddleback maple sides.
Measuring 9? x 9? x 3 3/8? this lovely box is a beautiful, decorative piece ? perfect for holding your treasured keepsakes or objects you like to keep at hand. This box was generously donated by the artist.
