A certificate for 12 students spend their Saturday morning (8 am - 12:30 pm) with a Mayo Clinic Radiologist. Topics include:
- Image guidance -- Learn about how imaging helps see through the body, and how imaging can be used to direct procedures and treatment. Gain hands on experience of the materials (biopsy gun, guide wires, and more)!
- Diagnosis competition -- Review different types of radiology cases and make the diagnosis!
- Focus on Micro-Robotics -- Learn about micro robots, tour the lab, and observe micro robots in action.
- Lunch -- pizza and drinks included.
This experience must be arranged with advanced notice at a mutually convenient time during the February-March 2025.
Limited to BASIS students in grades 5-12.
